Two of the top teams in the east went head to head on Friday night, when the Chicago Bulls met the Indiana Pacers.

As usual, Derrick Rose took over the game, leading his Bulls to their fifth straight pre-season win, making their record a perfect 5-0.

This wasn't any normal game for Rose, after coming off that stellar performance against the Detroit Pistons dropping 22 points, the haters, once again, advanced thinking he couldn't do it two games in a row.

But Rose gave them what they wanted and then some. He ended the game with 32 points, nine-of-15 from the field and four-of-seven from behind the arc. Rose also helped his teammates with nine assists along with four rebounds.

The game was a close one, both coaches putting on their starting five to end the game. Rose told reporters after the game: "It was like play-off atmosphere".

Both teams are slowly starting to dislike each other more and more, and the rivalry is sure to heat up during the season as they battle for post-season opportunities.

"It felt good being out there in the fourth," Rose added.

"I felt natural. That's the way I've been playing in practice, not holding back. The extra minutes gave me some reassurance, me knowing my leg is safe."

It's good to know that Rose's leg is holding up well and as an NBA fan, I'm sure we all hope Derrick Rose is injury free for the rest of his career.

Judging on the pre-season, he is looking dangerous. He could, if all goes right, dethrone LeBron James and take his MVP title away from him. Rose is showing us killer plays, assuring fans that he still has his deadly skill set which can put a defender on skates.

For instance, against the Pistons he made Payton Siva look like an amateur. "Ooh Kill em" was the immediate reaction from the Bulls commentator.

The questions and jokes regarding Rose's comeback have officially been put to rest. Rose has shown he is NBA ready and according to the stats he is putting up, it was probably the best decision he ever made to sit out all of last season.
