Verona boss Andrea Mandorlini has revealed that Arsenal and Liverpool target Jorginho could depart the club in January, reports talkSPORT.
The playmaker starred for the club as they gained promotion to Serie A last season and has already scored five goals in this campaign for the Italian outfit.
And now, with the likes of Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool interested in his services, the Verona coach believes it will prove difficult to keep his talented star.
Speaking to Radio Anch'io Lo Sport, Mandorlini said: "I know, only too well, that it will be hard to keep the likes of Jorginho.
"But behind them we are already allowing others to grow and mature. We are making use of those youngsters who are given little space but who will have an important future for this club."
The Gunners and Liverpool could go head-to-head for the 21-year-old's signature in January and both clubs will be hoping to still be in the running for the Premier League title once the window opens.
Both teams have begun the campaign well, with Arsenal sitting top of the pile and Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool side in third place after the opening eight league games of the season.
