Gareth Bale walked away with the Premier League's PFA Player of the Year award before completing his switch from Tottenham to Real Madrid this summer - but who will succeed him to become the Premier League's player of the season?
It's still very early days - for most clubs there's still another 30 matches to play - but already we're developing a clearer idea about which clubs will be competing for the title and which players are likely to have a major say in the final destination of the Premier League trophy.
Of course, there's no guarantees that the players on this list can sustain their current form or stay fit, but if they can then expect this lost to be competing for the Premier League's most prestigious individual accolade towards the end of next season.
