Pajtim Kasami's goal was better than Marco van Basten's legendary volley in the 1988 Euro final, according to manager Martin Jol.
The Switzerland midfielder's wondergoal, which levelled the scores at Selhurst Park after Fulham went 1-0 down to Crystal Palace, has already been tagged as a potential goal of the season.
After going one nil down to relegation candidates Palace after only seven minutes, it took two amazing strikes by Kasami and then Sidwell to ensure that the Cottagers did not fall out of sight.
However it was the former's that was the special moment in the match and Martin Jol stated after the game that it was even better than Van Bastens- which many consider to be the best goal ever scored.
"Marco van Basten’s goal was totally different and you can’t compare the two but this one was better!" Jol said.
"He had to sprint 30 yards, take a touch and then score, it is one of the goals of the season."
Take the time to watch the volley above. You won't regret it.
