Verona midfielder Jorginho has confirmed that scouts from Arsenal and Chelsea were present at Sunday's 3-2 Serie 'A' victory over Parma, reports talkSPORT.
The 21-year-old has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent months, with suggestions that he could be on his way to the Premier League in January.
Liverpool were heavily linked with Jorginho during the summer, but Brendan Rodgers was unable to negotiate a deal to bring him to Anfield.
Now, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to bring the £10million-rated Italian to the Emirates Stadium, as soon as the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
Arsenal will face competition from fellow suitors Chelsea, though, as Jose Mourinho is also monitoring the Brazilian-born playmaker closely, ahead of a potential bid to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
"In the match against Parma there were scouts from teams like Arsenal and Chelsea," Jorginho confirmed in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Maybe if I keep playing well I can show exactly what I'm worth."
Jorginho scored twice in the weekend victory to take his 2013/14 tally to five goals in eight Serie 'A' games this season.
