Ahead of a tricky looking tie in Vienna tonight, Austria Wien's manager Nenad Bjelica has claimed that his opposite number, Diego Simeone of Atletico Madrid, is the "best manager in the world".

Certainly, Simeone has done a tremendous job ever since taking the job at Atletico, winning the Europa League, the Super Cup and of course, winning the Spanish Cup last season against their arch rivals Real Madrid, who they had not beaten since 1999, in Los Blancos' own backyard, too.

They have been remarkable this season as well, having a flawless record in La Liga up until losing at Espanyol just three days ago. Simeone has improved the side and decreased the gap between themselves and the two Spanish giants, Barcelona and Real Madrid, despite Atletico's tiny budget compared to the two, not to mention the fact they also lost Radamel Falcao over the summer as well.

Bjelica is clearly a fan, telling reporters: "I think Diego Simeone is the best manager in the world. He's won more titles than anyone over the last few years. And he's done so with a squad unlike that of Real Madrid or Barcelona".

Bjelica also made clear his intent to win the game, despite arguably being underdogs, claiming that "We always want to win. It doesn't matter who we play against".

He also stated that it would be a big boost if Diego Costa, who may not be fit for the clash, doesn't feature in tonight's game.

"Given the way Diego Costa is playing at the moment, it would be an advantage if he didn't play," Bjeclica added. "He's on fire. He's really strong, fast and a real handful. He's difficult to stop".
