Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of highly-rated Arsenal defender Tom Dallison, reports Sky Sports.
The 17-year-old centre-back only signed for the north London club in the summer, but has been allowed to leave to pen a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Championship outfit.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had high hopes for the talented teenager, who moved to the Emirates Stadium from West Ham at the end of 2012/13.
Numerous clubs were interested in Dallison's services, but it's Seagulls boss Oscar Garcia who has successfully secured the player's signature, after being impressed by the young stopper during a recent trial with the Sussex club.
As Dallison was only on scholarship terms with Arsenal, Brighton are able to sign him outside of the transfer window, and the Premier League leaders have agreed to sanction his move.
He'll be looking to put himself in contention of a first-team place at the earliest opportunity, and bid to help Brighton improve on their current standing (15th) in the Championship table.
