Manchester United are stepping up their interest in Arsenal and Liverpool target Matias Suarez, reports the Daily Star.
The Anderlecht forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League for some time, as he continues to excel in the Belgian Pro-League.
With seven goals to his name already in 2013/14, Suarez's growing list of suitors is showing no signs of slowing down, with scouts from various clubs around Europe set to watch the 25-year-old when Anderlecht take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Red Devils boss David Moyes is understood to have sent a representative to the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium this evening, tasked with bringing back a report that will determine whether he attempts to sign Suarez in January.
Moyes would have taken in the game himself, but Manchester United are also in action, as they host Real Sociedad at Old Trafford in Group A this evening.
Arsenal and Liverpool have both held a long-term interest in the Argentine attacking midfielder, but neither Arsene Wenger nor Brendan Rodgers have deployed scouts for tonight's game.
Juventus, Barcelona and Schalke have also been mentioned among Suarez's list of admirers, but it is Manchester United that currently lead Arsenal and Liverpool as the most likely Premier League club to secure the player's signature.
