Jermain Defoe

Defoe will be more frustrated that anyone to be sitting on the bench for Tottenham Hotspur every Saturday.

However, the striker is doing himself no harm by scoring for fun in the Europa League. The 31 year-old has been clinical in Europe this season, scoring five goals in four matches so far. Defoe is likely to start tonight against Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol, who are second in Group K.

He will be expecting to add to his tally and continue to keep fellow forward Roberto Soldado on his toes as the competition for being Spurs' number one centre-forward heats up.
