Paris-St-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has promised the world that he and his team-mates can still improve, following his side's 5-0 Champions League demolition of Anderlecht, according to the Guardian.
The French giants completely outplayed their Belgian counter-parts, with Ibrahimovic scoring four of the goals in the rout.
With their new-found investment, many are tipping the Paris based outfit to go further than they ever before. And following the victory, belief is high in the French capital that the team can improve on their quarter-final finish last year, where they were defeated by Barcelona.
No-one believes more than Ibrahimovic that PSG can go further in the competition this time round, and the giant Swede has praised the transition from his side.
"After a year together we know each other much better and some players have come in and made a difference. If you work very hard you get your rewards," the prolific striker told reporters in Belgium.
With stars such as Thiago Silva, Ibrahimovic, Lucas Moura and Ezequiel Lavezzi regularly featuring in the starting XI, PSG have a great chance to set the competition on fire this year.
If yesterday's result is anything to go on, we can expect even more attacking flair from the French champions in the future.
