Here is a little look into the midfielders of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City. All three teams currently sit in the top 4 of the league, and many of their success is built from their talented midfielders. I will be choosing a top 3 for each position in a midfield 5 for a 3-5-2 formation. This was surely a very tough list to decide, and different people will have different opinions, however based on previous performances as well as current form, here are my chosen players for each position.

Right Attacking Midfield:

1. Juan Mata - Chelsea

With two Chelsea player of the season's trophies in his past (and first) two seasons with Chelsea, Mata is an undeniably talented footballer who possesses a great amount of creative ability. Cutting in from the right onto his left foot, he can whip in a dangerous cross or even look for goal and is my definite choice for the right attacking midfield.

2. Theo Walcott - Arsenal

3. Jesus Navas - Manchester City

Right Central Midfield:

1. Aaron Ramsey - Arsenal

With five goals in Arsenal's opening eight games, Ramsey is beginning to live up to the potential that he has been said to have for so long. Along with his superstar teammates, Ramsey was seemingly getting pushed out of the picture, however he is thriving under the pressure to perform like his team-mates.

The Welshman is looking the whole part to be a dominant premier league midfielder, and it will be exciting to see how he develops as the season progresses.

2. Ramires - Chelsea

3. Fernandinho - Manchester City

Central Attacking Midfield:

1. Mesut Ozil - Arsenal

Although new to the Premier League, Ozil narrowly beats Chelsea's Oscar. At the age of just 25, he has already had three full seasons at Real Madrid and has now made the move to England's top division.

With two goals and four assists in his first five games for the Gunners, Ozil will hope to continue his great start with his new club. A true world class player with 51 appearances for Germany, Ozil is certainly one of the premier league's most talented players.

2. Oscar - Chelsea

3. Santi Cazorla - Arsenal

Left Central Midfield:

1. Yaya Toure - Manchester City

A powerhouse in the heart of premier league runners-up Manchester City, Yaya Toure blends power, speed and control on the ball to help City out both in attack and defence.

Strong at the back, Toure has also scored four goals this season, showing his ability from dead ball situations in the process. The Ivorian is one of the Premier League's best players currently, if the blue side of Manchester want to finish top of the table this season, Toure will surely play a big part in their success.

2. Jack Wilshere  - Arsenal

3. Frank Lampard - Chelsea

Left Attacking Midfield:

1. Eden Hazard - Chelsea

The Belgian is an undeniably talented footballer, at 22 he has already been linked with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Blues winger possesses great skill on the ball, using it with his speed at times gives even the most experienced defenders in the premier league a torrid time.

2. David Silva - Manchester City

3. Andre Schurrle - Chelsea

Clearly selecting these lists was very hard, and anyone picking from this array of midfielders would have a nightmare, with the likes of Mikel Arteta, Samir Nasri and Willian not even in these lists, it shows just how many talented midfielders there are lighting up the Premier League.

Overall, I don't think we can choose a winner out of the midfields from these three teams, however I feel Arsenal's and Chelsea's midfields have a greater depth and range in talent so I would go with one of the London clubs as my winners.
