Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has once again revealed his admiration for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The former Red Devils stopper was in the Sky Sports studio watching the Swede in Champions League action last night, as Paris Saint-Germain beat Anderlecht 5-0 in Belgium.
And, the Swedish striker was at the heart of the Ligue 1 champions’ demolition, scoring a first half-hat trick and four in total as his side ran riot at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.
It led to a glowing reference from Schmeichel, who thinks the player was ‘born’ to represent the Premier League champions.
“Zlatan was born to play for Manchester United,” said the Dane in his post-match analysis, according to Radio Sarajevo.
It's not the first time the former Brondby starlet has voiced this opinion, with the 49-year-old saying back in August that Ibrahimovic was the man for new United boss David Moyes.
The 32-year-old has played for seven different clubs in his career, but is yet to grace the Premier League stage.
His arrival would be a major boost for the division, and if the Manchester United manager were able to land the player, it would be a transfer coup given his stature in the world game.
