Vlad Chiriches pulled off a stunning piece of skill against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League.

In the first half, the Romanian saw the forward running towards him, so he deftly flicked the ball up over his head, and played the ball.

The defender has looked a solid defender for Spurs and influential too, Tottenham not having conceded when the 23-year-old is in the middle of the back four. He's strong, he's quick - and looks to have a solid first-team future at the club.

Spurs, meanwhile, posted a 2-0 win against Sheriff Tiraspol, with Jan Vertonghen and Jermain Defoe providing the goals for Andre Villas-Boas' side.

The hosts did provide some scares for Spurs, but Defoe's goal managed to extinguish the threat and ensure the north Londoners claimed all three points.
