San Francisco Giants star Tim Lincecum has signed a new two-year deal with the Franchise worth €35 million, reports ESPN.
The deal is still pending a physical and the contract has a full no-trade clause implemented.
Lincecum was desperate to stay with the team and, after General manager Brian Sabean insisted that keeping the star was among his priority, it only looked a matter of time until a deal would be struck.
Sabean completed the deal for the 29-year-old before he could hit the open market in free agency.
Lincecum recently completed his last two-year deal which was worth €40.5m, but will now remain at the Giants for another two-years.
The star has losing records in his last three seasons, however he's been a solid performer and will hope to enjoy future success with the Giants.
The Giants will expect him to deliver the goods as they go in search of glory.
