Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that his side are 'soft', and said that he prefers to buy technically good players, according to the Express.
The Gunners are looking to bounce back this weekend from their mid-week Champions League defeat at home to Borussia Dortmund, and will attempt to do so against Crystal Palace tomorrow, who are now without a manager.
And although Arsenal are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table, having managed 19 points from eight games, Wenger concedes that his side aren't necessarily a strong team.
The Frenchman praised the overall quality of his squad, and highlighted the fact that he now has a selection headache because of the strength in depth his team possesses, but did admit Jack Wilshere and co. weren't strong players.
"I have a selection headache because I have plenty of good players," he said.
"Do I have a soft side? Yes of course. I just try to buy good players with technical quality."
Wenger has often had a tendency to sign more fluid, attacking players for his Arsenal team, as was evident with his record-breaking capture of £42million man Mesut Ozil.
