Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has been selected in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Week following his sensational eight-minute brace against CSKA Moscow.
The 25-year-old rescued his side from 1-0 down after former Manchester United starlet Zoran Tosic took the lead for the Russian Premier League outfit on 32 minutes with a delicious lob.
City immediately clicked into action; their resurgence typified by Aguero's stunning two-goal flurry.
David Silva whipped in a delightful cross from the left-hand side for the Argentine to race past CSKA defender Sergei Ignashevich before poking the ball past Igor Akinfeev to equalise two minutes after the opener.
Momentum then swung heavily in favour of the visitors, and 5'8" Aguero was again well-placed at the back post to head home a fantastic ball from Alvaro Negredo to complete a quick-fire brace three minutes before the break.
The Manchester City forward proved to be the difference on the night, warranting an 8.0 match rating and a place in this edition of the UEFA Team of the Week.
