Football's biggest kit deals (1)

Published 1 Comments

Manchester United are set to smash Real Madrid's world-record kit deal when they announce a five-year £300million agreement with American sportswear giants Nike, reports the Daily Mail.

The new contract will more than triple the annual amount the Premier League champions receive under the current contract with their suppliers, and almost double the £31million per year that the Spanish giants collect from adidas, which is currently the most lucrative deal in world football.

United could also receive an additional £15million per year having been granted sales rights for their kits, which could see the five-year deal worth a staggering total of £375million.

The Old Trafford outfit have received around £303million during their 13-year association with Nike, and if the contract runs the same length of time under the new agreement, the club could earn close to £1billion in revenue.
