5. Wesley Sneijder | Galatasaray

When discussing the best playmakers in the world, for some reason Wesley Sneijder's name is still often mentioned, despite the fact it's been three years since that standout season in 2010.

Since then he's been pretty average, for both Inter Milan and Galatasaray.

His goalscoring record has never been amazing since he left Ajax, either. With Real Madrid he scored 11 goals in 66 matches, before bagging 22 in 116 games for Inter.

No longer a world-class footballer, despite what some might say.
