2. Yoann Gourcuff | Lyon
Once regarded as Zinedine Zidane's successor, Yoann Gourcuff has flattered to deceive since his days with Rennes, which ended in 2006 when he joined AC Milan.
He flopped at Milan, spent some time at Bordeaux and is now at Lyon. At all three clubs he failed to burst into life.
However, despite all that, Gourcuff still has a fairly decent reputation and his name is often mentioned as a potential inclusion for France ahead of each major international.
Sadly, he'll never be the new Zidane. Not even close.
