I thought we did very well today as we were playing against such a good side in Arsenal.

I think we should remain positive as we only lost 2-0 to the Premier League leaders.

The lads wanted to make a statement today, so the fans could see that we do still care about this football club.

The fans have always been there for us. They are used to roller coaster rides. They have been the 12th man, so I am just glad the Palace fans are still behind us.

I wasn't too disappointed at not starting as I cannot afford to damage my hamstring again.

Hamstring injuries tend to reoccur so I have to make sure that we manage it properly.

I wasn't supposed to play the full 90 minutes against Fulham, so the fact that I got a full game on Monday and just over 30 minutes today means that I am pretty happy.

Losing the manager this week was bit of a blow because he taught me a lot of things. I was really shocked that he decided to leave the club but it's football, so we just have to get on with it.

I thought today's performance was definitely a good advert for whoever replaces the gaffer.

The only way is up for us. We have to look forward to our next game against West Brom.

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie was speaking exclusively to Give Me Sport after his side's 2-0 loss against Arsenal at Selhurst Park.
