Lewandowski to join Premier League giants in January?

Borussia Dortmund are prepared to let star striker Robert Lewandowski leave for £7million in the January transfer window, according to the Daily Star.

The Polish forward, who is being targeted by Premier League quartet Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal, is being offered to potential suitors on a cut-price deal, with Dortmund knowing that he will otherwise leave for free at the end of the season when his current deal runs out.

The choice to market the 25-year-old, who has become one of the deadliest strikers in Europe over the past few seasons, is likely to spark a January race for his services, with as many as six of the world's top teams in contention.

David Moyes is keen to to strengthen his side's attacking potency, and a move for Lewandowski would be a serious statement of intent, particularly with the future of Wayne Rooney still not completely certain.

Jose Mourinho may move for the big Pole if his predicted pursuit of Rooney fails to come to fruition, and City are thought to be interested in a player-exchange deal with Edin Dzeko.

Arsenal's striking problems are perhaps the most pertinent, with Olivier Giroud being their only capable forward.

Bayern Munich however will most likely remain favourites to secure his signature, with Real Madrid also potentially weighing up a potential bid.
