West Ham midfielder Joe Cole believes team-mate Ravel Morrison has all the attributes to play for England.
Morrison has proved his talent recently, making a fine start to the season. He scored a brace for the England u21's recently against Lithuania with the young England boys going on to win 5-0 at Portman Road.
Cole made his full debut for The Three Lions when he was 19-years-old, as did Arsenal's Theo Walcott when he was 17-years-old.
With Roy Hodgson starting to bring in the youngsters, with the golden edition starting to turn retro it now could be time for Morrison to step up to the plate.
"He's 20 now," said an encouraging Cole.
"That's young but I think Theo went at 17 and I was 19.
"He's got a chance. I think any English players will be thinking they have a chance. Certainly the young ones because Roy has come out and said he's going to go with youth over experience.
"His attitude is spot-on. He loves football, which I look for in a player the most. He loves his football. You can see the joy when he's playing.
"You can see him listening when you're talking to him. He's got a great attitude and that's why he is where he is."
Cole and Morrison will line-up for West Ham today as they make the trip to Wales to face a tough league fixture against Swansea.
