Chelsea have been made the bookies' favourites to bring Robert Lewandowski to the Premier League ahead of Arsenal, Manchester United and City, according to the Daily Star.
The Poland international, who has established himself as one of the most complete forwards in the world over the last year and a half at Borussia Dortmund, is out of contract in the summer and widely tipped to move in January.
And whilst Bayern Munich remain odds on to seal his signature ahead of the other European giants in contention, it's the Blues who top the pile in England.
It emerged yesterday that Dortmund would offer Lewandowski to Premier League clubs for a cut-price of £7million, in a bid to salvage some money rather than letting him leave in the summer for nothing.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes have made Chelsea 4/1 to be his preferred destination, whilst Arsenal come in at 7/1, Manchester United are on at 10/1 and Manchester City 7/1.
Bayern are the most favourable at 3/1, but despite the fact that it was initially all but guaranteed that Lewandowski would make the switch to Dortmund's Bundesliga rivals, he may well opt to leave Germany.
A Ladbrokes spokesman said: "We've love to see Lewandowski in the Premier League. Sadly the odds suggest he's heading to great rivals Bayern instead."
