Wilfried Zaha is in line to make his competitive debut for Manchester United in the Capital One Cup against Norwich on Tuesday evening, according to The Metro.

The £12m signing from Crystal Palace is yet to feature for the defending Premier League champions in a meaningful fixture.

He impressed on the club's preseason tour, and against Wigan in the Community Shield. But United boss David Moyes has so far left Zaha on the bench for every competitive match they've played.

Still, he hinted that Zaha could be set to receive his first taste of competitive action against Norwich City after he was named in the squad for the match at Old Trafford.

United are expected to name a much changed team from the side that beat Stoke City 3-2 at home on Saturday - and Zaha could be one of the new faces involved for the fourth round match.

The England under-21 international has looked on from the sidelines while other United wingers have struggled so far this season.

Ashley Young has failed to impress, while Nani was booed off by the Old Trafford faithful following a lacklustre 58 minutes against the Potters at the weekend.
