Questions were first asked when a logo appeared on Sugarloaf mountain in Rio de Janeiro, the host city where the next World Cup is due to be held, then a “meteor” appeared on hackney marshes accompanied by the same logo.
The logo also appeared at Times Square in New York and the again in Brazil at the Copacabana beach, all accompanied with the hashtag #WinnerTakesEarth
The mystery grows even stronger as a group of men where spotted at Saturday's Bayern Munich game. The men all sported the same logo on their chest that has appeared across the globe in recent weeks.
Fans said they didn’t react like everyone else did to the action, occasionally standing up and raising their arms silently. Even stranger, 11 more men where spotted at the Juventus vs. Genoa fixture on Sunday before making another appearance less than an hour later at Stamford Bridge.
The group all wore plain black robes and sat together at the three events, the logos all in plain view of the cameras showing the games across the world.
The strangeness doesn’t stop there, the German legend Franz Beckenbauer also showed up at Stamford bridge on Sunday for no clear reason, and more pictures are beginning to emerge of one of the mysterious men sat behind Der Kaizer.
Furthermore, a strange video appeared online where Der Kaizer claimed to have met aliens who challenged the earth to a football match in which the winners would take the earth. The German legend said: “Now its up to us to put together a team. Only football can save the planet… More to come.”
Speculation is rife as to what the mysterious men are up, and whether or not it's a strange advertising campaign or if there's any real extra-terrestrial involvement.
