Major League Soccer side Toronto FC have been linked with audacious moves for Premier League duo Jermain Defoe and Frank Lampard.

The franchise, who are managed by former Premier League centre-back, Ryan Nelsen are reportedly keen on offering the pair the chance to end their careers in MLS.

The MLS seems to be an attractive league for most players who are in the later years of their professional career as the likes of Thierry Henry, David Beckham and Alessandro Nesta have all played in the MLS after conquering Europe.
