Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi has condemned his own performance against Chelsea as 'not good enough' as the north Londoners succumbed to defeat to end their hopes of winning the Capital One Cup.
Chelsea triumphed 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium thanks to goals from Cesar Azpilicueta and Juan Mata, which ensured their passage into the quarter-final of the competition.
Arsene Wenger used the encounter with the Blues to provide Miyaichi with a rare first-team start, but the Japanese youngster was unable to prevent his side from suffering at the hands of Jose Mourinho's side.
Miyaichi was replaced by club record acquisition Mesut Özil shortly after the hour mark and the former was far from pleased with the display he put in, but is now focused on preparing for future chances.
"I would say it [my performance] was not good enough," he told Arsenal Player.
"I'm not satisfied on my individual things but we have a lot of games to go so I want to prepare for that. Let's focus on Liverpool on Saturday."
Miyaichi has made five appearances for Arsenal this season, his first campaign in the first-team, having spent last term on loan with Wigan.
