Liverpool are reportedly interested in Spurs target Mohamed Salah, according to the Daily Mail.

Earlier this month Spurs were considering a move for Basel winger Salah in January.

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas was supposedly keen on Salah earlier this year but wanted to see whether the 21-year-old continued to progress.

Spurs scouts watched his performance against Chelsea in the Champions League in which he scored, and plan further checks before the January window.

FC Basel supposedly value the winger at £15 million, which is understandable seeing as the rapid winger has scored six goals for his country in the World Cup qualification campaign, while his stand out performance against Chelsea recently helped make him hot property across Europe.

Those performances have also earned the interest of the North London club, with Basel believed to be ready to sell.

Liverpool are now said to be rivalling Tottenham for Salah, as they're ready to buy again in January to push for Champions League qualification and possibly the Premier League title race.
