Galatasaray could be set to end Gaston Ramirez's Southampton nightmare, reports talkSPORT.
Since moving to the South coast club in 2012, the Uruguayan has failed to live up to expectations and his second season has gone from bad to worse.
It was considered something of a coup when Southampton snapped up Ramirez for a then club-record £12million, with a number of bigger clubs linked to the playmaker.
However, the former Bologna man struggled to adapt to the fast-paced Premier League and was largely disappointing last season.
So far this term the 20-capped youngster has managed less than 90 minutes of Premier League football all season.
Those forgettable minutes came over the course of four substitute appearances as Ramirez struggles to break into Mauricio Pochettino's high-flying side.
And reports from Turkey are now suggesting that Galatasaray may offer the talented midfielder a route out of the Premier League with a January swoop.
The Uruguay international is contracted until 2016, but it is believed the Saints would settle for a loss of £3million by negotiating around the £9million figure.
Southampton face a trip to lowly Stoke on Saturday as they look to keep up with the league's pace-setters.
