I'm a huge fan of the New England Patriots, but I have been even more impressed this season and I have tried to keep track of the Denver Broncos as they have kicked off the 2013 season with a 7-1 start.

The Broncos made sure they didn't begin a losing streak after they pulled off a very impressive win against the Washington Redskins. The win made me think that the Broncos could be serious contenders for the Superbowl.

The only team who stand in the Broncos' way at the moment is their AFC West rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, who are yet to lose a game this season (the only team in the NFL with a perfect record).

But, with Peyton Manning - probably the best quarterback in the NFL at the moment - and their outstanding choice of receivers Wes Welker, Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas all the way to Champ Bailey and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie as their cornerbacks, who says they can't win the Superbowl.

On paper, their team is very scary, probably the best in the league, and still they are missing some of their key players like Ryan Clady.

The only game they have lost this season was to the 5-2 Indianapolis Colts, but they have managed to comprehensively beat last year's Superbowl winners, the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Giants, the Oakland Raiders, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Jacksonville Jaguars and now the Washington Redskins, showing how they are a Superbowl candidate side for 2014.

They will prove they are definitely a potential Superbowl winning side if they are able to beat the Chiefs and the Patriots. Then, NFL fans of other franchises will really start to worry about their side facing the Broncos in the playoffs.
