Liverpool yet to bid for Manchester United £15m target

Published Add your comment

Liverpool are yet to make a bid for Derby County starlet Will Hughes, according to the Liverpool ECHO

Hughes, who has shined in the Championship over the past year, has also been linked with a move to Premier League champions Manchester United.

However, despite the Reds currently monitoring the Hughes' situation, they are not planning on making an offer for the teen sensation in January.

And, after Andre Wisdom completed a season-long loan switch to County, it increased speculation that Brendan Rodgers' side would submit an offer in the region of £15 million for the England U21 starlet.

The youngster may now have to wait until next summer to join one of the Premier League big-boys, as his long term future remains uncertain.

For now though, Hughes will have to concentrate on Derby as his side prepare to travel to Loftus Road and take on high flying QPR this weekend.
