Chelsea: Mourinho factor is back

Jose Mourinho has brought Chelsea back to almost full strength, helping them to second in the league after nine games, with the club only two points behind leaders Arsenal.

Mourinho's men have gone from strength-to-strength since the arrival of the Special One, and the Blues are rightfully among the favourites to win the Premier League once again, after a run of form that saw them win every game in October.

The latest of these results came in the 2-0 win over the league leaders in the Capital One Cup, and was a victory that came much easier than most had expected.

Both sets of teams put out weakened sides, and this was an opportunity to show every one the strength in depth that Chelsea, with fluent football and clinical finishing securing a deserved result.

With a win only 48 hours before the victory at the Emirates against former champions Manchester City, with a resilient Torres scoring a late winner, it is not hard to see that Mourinho has brought back the winning mentality to Stamford Bridge. As a result, Chelsea look good to win at least one trophy this year, if not more.

Mourinho is known for getting the best out of his players and, with a rejuvenated Torres looking like his old self, things at the Bridge are looking up for Chelsea. They will definitely be the team to beat this season, as they look more and more dangerous every week and can only keep get better.
