Ola Toivonen refused to dismiss speculation linking him with an exit from PSV Eindhoven in January.
Toivonen has been linked with Premier League trio Newcastle, Norwich and Fulham after impressing for the Eredivisie outfit. Serie A club Fiorentina are also thought to be keeping tabs on the Swedish international.
Alan Pardew has been looking to increase his options at St James' Park but recently stated that he wanted to bring more English players to Newcastle.
When asked about his future Toivonen remained distant but refused to rule out the possibility of moving in the near future.
"I haven't heard anything, it is my agent who takes care of that," Toivonen told Swedish newspaper Expressen.
"Nothing new has happened."
Toivonen will likely be involved for Sweden when they face Portugal in the two-legged play-off for a place in the World Cup.
The 27-year-old has 35 caps for his native country, scoring six goals in that time.
Playing primarily as an attacking-midfielder behind the striker, Toivonen can also play up front and scored an impressive seven goals in 11 starts for PSV last season.
He has, however, not found his scoring boots so far this year scoring just once on 10 appearances.
