As free-kicks go, they don't get much better than this.

Chelsea's Under-16 side were crowned 2013 International Youth Tournament champions last week after beating Real Madrid 2-0 in the final.

That in itself is special enough, but the victory was secured when Mukhtar Ali scored one of the best free-kicks you're ever likely to witness.

The teenager spotted the Real Madrid goalkeeper off his line before arrowing the ball from fully 40 yards into the back of the net.

Like the embarrassed Real Madrid 'keeper, we're still wondering how Ali managed to strike a dead-ball with such power and accuracy given his slight stature and tender age.

It was a moment of class and inspiration from a youngster we should all keep an eye out for over the forthcoming years.

Ali's superb goal was similar to the free-kick scored by Thiago Alcantara for the Spain Under-21s against Switzerland in 2011.

You can see that goal here, while you can watch Ali's magnificent free-kick by clicking play on the video - brought to our attention by 101greatgoals - at the top of the page.
