As Ian Holloway resigned last week, he unveiled one of the worst kept secrets of the season. He admitted 'We didn't keep the spirit that got us up - we changed too much too quickly.'

Holloway is referring to the 13 players he brought into the squad this summer who've performed quite poorly so far this season - with only one win in nine games. The other eight games have all been losses. 

It's not all doom and gloom for the Eagles, as they have shown encouraging signs in some games, such as against Manchester United where they kept the Red Devils quiet for large parts of the game.

They also put up a valiant effort against Arsenal which was clearly an advert for managers that are free agents to see what they could work with.

At the moment, Crystal Palace are favorites to be relegated from the Premier League.
