Two teams full of confidence sitting pretty at the top end of the Premier League table pit their wits against each other this afternoon in what should be a cracker. Arsenal are in first and Liverpool are in third, so both teams have a lot to play for.

Arsenal will be without their solid defensive midfielder Mathieu Flamini, who is sidelined with a groin injury, as well as young talent Serge Gnabry who has an ankle injury which ruled him out of the Gunners 2-0 against Chelsea in the midweek. A win for Arsenal would prize them a gap at the top of the League by at least two points.

However, it won't be simple for Arsenal. Liverpool have been playing the best football they have ever played under Brendan Rodgers of late, with strike partners Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez in top form. As well as this, the Reds will have playmaker Philippe Coutinho back after six weeks out with injury. Liverpool will leapfrog Arsenal in the table if they win this evening.

Four out of the last six matches at the Emirates have ended in a draw and both teams would surely take a point if they were offered it beforehand. The Gunners have picked up 22 points of of an available 24 and Liverpool have picked up 20.

You can see there being a lot of goals at the Emirates Stadium as both teams have not struggled to find the net this season. Mesut Ozil has made a big impact since joining Arsenal in the summer, but Luis Suarez is like a new signing for Liverpool after he returned from his 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
