Valencia have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Demba Ba from Chelsea, according to the Daily Star.
Ba, who joined Chelsea for £7M in January 2013 has struggled to gain a regular place since Jose Mourinho took over at the Blues.
The Senegal international has made just five appearances for the London club this season, and has yet to get off the mark.
A £7m offer from Valencia could see Ba move to the Spanish side who are in desperate need of a striker.
Summer signings Samuel Eto'o and André Schürrle along with the recent form of Fernando Torres is why Ba has not been able to get himself into the side.
And with Romelu Lukaku, who has been scoring for fun at Everton, back from his loan spell at the end of this season, this will further push him down the pecking order.
There was strong interest from Arsenal during the summer. However due to their excellent form recently and showing they are legitimate title contenders, it is unlikely Chelsea will sell or send out Ba on loan to Arsene Wenger's side.
Newcastle are also interested in re-signing Ba, but the striker's preference is likely to be to look for a fresh start in La Liga.
Valencia, who are in the Europa League, haven't had the best of starts to their La Liga campaign. They have struggled without a striker, and Ba can fill in the gaps.
