This evening, football fans all over the world expect a clash of the titans as Liverpool take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Both clubs have been fine form of late, with Arsenal sitting at the top of the league by two clear points and Liverpool in third place with 20 points. Chelsea also have 20 points, but their superior goal difference gives them a slight advantage.
The favorites would seem to be Arsenal as they are playing at home, but Liverpool have enough firepower to halt them.
Luis Suarez has been in spectacular form following his return from his 10-match suspension. He scored a hat-trick in the match against West Brom last weekend for a total of six goals in the Premier League so far this season.
Daniel Sturridge has also been silencing his doubters, notching eight goals in the league. Philippe Coutinho appears to be likely to feature and, if he does, it will be up to him to create chances for the main strikers to make an impact on the match.
With such fine players leading the front line, Brendan Rodgers will hope that his players can run out with a positive result. But they face an Arsenal side that has been looking much more lively than in previous seasons.
Arsene Wenger's players have been grinding out results that have benefited the London club greatly. Their last three games included matches against Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, and Crystal Palace. They could only manage a win against Palace and suffered consecutive against their much tougher opponents.
However, with players like Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, and Oliver Giourd all in fine form, Arsenal's players will be confident that they can win the match.
Arsenal 2-1 Liverpool
The home crowd will impact the match greatly and Arsenal will take all three points due to the quality and form of their players.
