Arsenal star nets another stunning strike

Arsenal's tremendous start to the domestic season continued this evening, as Arsene Wenger's side extended their lead at the summit of the Premier League table to five points with a 2-0 victory over Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.

In a thoroughly dominant display, the Gunners took the lead when diminutive Spaniard Santi Cazorla managed to notch after 19 minutes.

In a 90 minutes positively bursting with positives for the hosts, however, Ramsey's goal was undoubtedly the brightest moment.

The Welsh midfielder has enjoyed a magnificent renaissance during the early stages of the 2013/14 campaign, and that continued with a magnificent strike - his tenth of the season already - shortly before the hour mark.

Receiving possession just outside the edge of Simon Mignolet's besieged penalty area, the 22-year-old stole a quick glance at goal before unleashing a powerful drive that swerved beautifully in the area and utterly flummoxed the Belgian 'keeper before hitting the back of the net.
