Manchester United are ready to sell Wilfried Zaha to Everton in a £22million player-plus-cash deal, just months after the winger completed a permanent move to Old Trafford, reports The Sun.

The England international - who joined the Premier League champions from Crystal Palace in a £15million deal in the summer - will be offered to the Toffees, along with £7million in cash, in a final attempt to sign long-term target Leighton Baines in January.

Red Devils boss David Moyes was heavily linked with a move for the left-back during the summer, but failed with a £15million bid for the 28-year-old.

The Scot remains determined to be reunited with Baines when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year, and is willing to sacrifice a player that has made just two first-team appearances for Manchester United in 2013/14.

Everton were already interested in bringing Zaha to Goodison Park on loan, so Roberto Martinez will think long and hard about the prospect of bringing the 20-year-old to Merseyside permanently, and whether it will finally convince the club to let Baines leave.
