Where do I start with this celebrity?

After his much publicized move to Los Angeles, David Beckham has become a global icon. He is so well known that pop icon Justin Bieber once said that he wanted his hair to be like that of David Beckham.

With wondrous hair, charming looks, a Spice Girls wife, and fantastic footballing talent David Beckham has become a world celebrity.

His underwear ad recently featured in a commercial during the Super Bowl in America, he was a torch bearer at the Olympic games in London, and was the first football brand ambassador for Adidas to have an icon signature line.

He even has a movie about him: "Bend it like Beckham." Whenever a non-footballing person references something about football, bending it like Beckham is probably something they refer to. It's become so popular that it's like a cliche in the unofficial football language.

Essentially, David Beckham has made himself into a global brand.

And now as he begins to set up his own football club in another major United States city, Miami, Florida, David Beckham will continue to expand his celebrity status.
