Premier League: 15 players who should be sold in January (1)

Published 16 Comments

Nothing divides fans of the modern game quite like the mid-season transfer window.

While many evidently enjoy it and view the excitement caused as one of the biggest highlights of the footballing calendar, others - most managers included - see it as an unnecessary and potentially damaging disruption.

Although to many it may feel as if the fun of the summer transfer period has only just died down, with us now entering November the winter re-opening is now less than two months away.

The January window, in particular, is known for its wild unpredictability as clubs traditionally take leave of their senses and attempt to sufficiently boost their respective squads with high-profile and high-risk captures.

Here, with that January window rapidly approaching, GMS pinpoints three players that each of last season's top-five Premier League clubs should show the exit door.

Please feel free to let us know your thoughts below. Have we made the right selections?

Do you see any of these players remaining with their current clubs? Who do you think should be on the move in January?
