Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini wants to see Fulham defender Sacha Riether punished after his stamp on young star Adnan Januzaj on Saturday.

David Moyes' side were rampant at Craven Cottage and went 3-0 up inside the first 25 minutes, to put the game to bed and put further pressure on Martin Jol.

Manchester United were 3-1 up and cruising as the match entered the final minute, but tempers flared when Januzaj took the ball in to the corner and was trying to hold off Riether before going down and getting a stamp from the German defender.

Fellaini was in attendance and reacted angrily to the incident, which was not acted upon by referee Lee Probert and the failure to even show a yellow card would suggest the official did not see the stamp, though it was spotted by television cameras.

As there was no punishment for Riether, Fellaini believes retrospective action should be taken by the FA and the correct suspension handed out, as the Belgium international was convinced the Fulham man should have been given his marching orders.

"For me it was a red card for the right back," he is quoted as saying in The Telegraph.

"I hope the referee looks at the video later."
