Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams believes his side's defeat to the Orlando Magic was 'unacceptable', reports NBC New York.
The Nets, who have won just one of their opening first three games, failed to follow up their impressive win against defending champions Miami Heat by losing to the Orlando Magic on Sunday.
Jason Kidd's side lost 107-86 against Orlando Magic and Williams has revealed his frustration at the Brooklyn Nets' most recent defeat.
"The win against Miami doesn't mean a thing when you come here and lay an egg, which is what we did," said Williams.
"We knew they were a young team and were going to play hard. We had to be ready to match their intensity and we weren't.
"They looked like they wanted it more and that is unacceptable."
Brooklyn Nets head coach Kidd was also displeased with his side for failing to replicate the form they showed against Miami Heat last Friday.
Kidd will be hoping his side put in a better performance on Tuesday, when the Brooklyn Nets take on Utah Jazz at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The Brooklyn Nets then face a busy weekend, with Kidd's side having to play the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center on Friday before hosting the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.
