German midfielder hits ridiculous own-goal from haflway line

Published 2 Comments

Well, this is a first - you've clicked on a story with a headline along the lines of 'greatest own goal ever!' and it actually is the greatest own goal ever. (Sorry about misleading you all those times before. We didn't mean to, honest.)

This absolute doozy comes from a reserve game in Germany between FC Schweinfurt and TSV 1860 Munich.

It's not exactly clear what prompts Stefan Seufert to lash out like he did. Anger? Arousal? Whatever the reason it is only likely to have made him angrier/hornier once he saw his long-range hoof lob his own keeper and wind up in the back of the net.
