Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has backed Joe Hart to overcome his recent dip in form.
De Gea's fellow custodian Hart was dropped for Manchester City's weekend win against Norwich City and will be on the substitutes' bench for his side's Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night.
There has also been talk of Hart being replaced as England's first choice 'keeper by either Fraser Forster or John Ruddy, however De Gea believes Hart will rekindle his fine form.
The Red Devils shot stopper, who himself came under-fire for his poor displays at the beginning of last season, believes Hart will be reinstated as City's no 1 'keeper in the next couple of weeks.
"Joe Hart is a great keeper," he said.
"It's very complicated to play at the top level and never to make mistakes.
"I am sure he will work very hard to go back into the first 11 and sooner or later he will make it."
While Hart will have to make do with a place on the bench for City's Champions League encounter, De Gea is likely to start for Manchester United against Real Sociedad in his homeland on Tuesday night.
