2 – Paolo Maldini (92 rating)

A football legend in every aspect of the word, Maldini spent 24-years at AC Milan as a professional, finally retiring from the game in 2009.

Always consistent from the left-back position, the 45-year-old also won 126 caps for his country – bus had already retired before World Cup success in 2006.

If anything, his 91 defending stat is perhaps a little low, with 87 heading, 86 pace and 82 passing supplementing his key stat. Maldini also has 65 dribbling and 53 shooting.
