Pepe Reina has insisted that he's not signed a deal to become Barcelona's new goalkeeper, reports The Sun.
Reina, who is still under contract at Liverpool, is currently on loan at Italian outfit Napoli.
The 31-year-old was replaced between the sticks by Belgian ace Simon Mignolet last summer, which led to him joining up with his former boss Rafa Benitez.
And reports had suggested that the Reds outcast will replace Victor Valdes as the Catalans' No.1 keeper next summer, but the Spanish keeper has denied the claims insisting he is unsure about his long term future.
Speaking to reporters, Reina said: “A contract with Barcelona? All I know is that I’ll have to go back to Liverpool next summer. It will be hard for me to return.
“The fact Liverpool decided to loan me out must mean something.
“But now I am very happy at Napoli. It has been an absolute success.”
Reina will be in action for the Italian side tonight as the play host to French side Marseille in the Champions League.
Napoli currently are tied with Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund at the top of the group on six points and will be desperate to secure all three points tonight.
