Manchester City's 7-0 mauling of Norwich City on Saturday was the 32nd time a Premier League team has conceded seven or more goals in a single match.

Manuel Pellegrini's side were in scintillating form as they ran riot at the Etihad with seven different players on the scoresheet - including the Canaries' Bradley Johnson who led the scoring with an own goal.

David Silva, Matija Nastasic, Alvaro Negredo, Yaya Tourne, Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko went on to humiliate their opponents.

It was not for the first time a team has conceded seven goals though - the first the feat occurred was back in October 1992 when top-of-the-table Blackburn Rovers destroyed poor old Norwich 7-1.

Between the two heavy defeats for the Canaries there have been 30 occasions on which teams have conceded seven goals or more within a single game.
