Thai striker Teerasil Dandga could be on his way to Spain with La Liga giants Atletico Madrid, reports Sport360.
Dandga has scored 15 times in the Thai Premier League this season for Muang Thong and trained with Atletico Madrid at the start of the season.
Los Rojiblancos boss Diego Simeone is looking to complete a loan move that will bring Dandga to the Vicente Calderon Stadium when the transfer window reopens in January.
"There's a high chance," said Muang Thong president Pongsak Polana revealed to the club's website.
"In January, if everything goes to plan, we may see Teerasil in La Liga."
Dandga could be set to join Atletico who are currently second in La Liga and are looking like serious contenders for the Spanish title this season, having lost just one Primera Division match in 2013/14.
The Thai striker would be playing alongside prolific frontman Diego Costa and Spanish all-time top goal scorer David Villa were he to complete a switch to the capital, leaving behind Muang Thong United, who are currently second in the Thai Premier League.
